Joanna Rose Telles Laddaran is a University Extension Specialist II at the University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI), and Director for Public Sector Relations of the Business Continuity Managers Association of the Philippines. She completed the following business continuity-related training programs and courses: Business As Usual – Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Management Course with PECB ISO 22301 Foundation Certification; APEC Capacity Building Program on Strengthening Governments’ Role in Promoting Business Continuity Planning to Mitigate against the Impact of Disasters; and the APEC Train-the-Trainer Workshop on Promoting SME Business Continuity Plans. She serves as a resource person for UP ISSI’s Honing Agents for National Disaster Awareness (HANDA) Program – a localized disaster preparedness and business continuity planning training program for MSMEs in the Philippines.
She is a member of the International Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and the Pi Gammu Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences.
