The Evolution of the Asia Risk & Resilience Events

Our journey timeline

Since the first Business Continuity Conference held in 2001, this annual event has evolved over the years, growing with the industry and professionals for almost 20 years and still going strong! It is an event crafted by resilience practitioners for the resilience professionals. With the events unfolding in 2020, the conference was also able to adapt and make the move to 100% ONLINE to ensure continual knowledge exchange while ensuring safety for speakers, delegates and staff.

The ARRC, rebranded from the 16 year long-standing Asia Business Continuity Conference(ABCC), is the leading premier regional platform where industry representatives, veterans and professionals from around the world come together to share their knowledge and experience, discuss the trends and explore the best practices in the Resiliency industry that includes Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Emergency Management, and other related areas such as Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, Terrorism, and Cyber-Security. More in-depth and targeted topics are discussed during the corresponding workshops.

It was specially developed to cater to the gap in market where there were increasing demands for an integrated event where delegates from various specialisations can come together to share their insights and discuss on various trending points of interest. It also presents an opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals across all industries.

From 2019 onwards, the ARRC will be held every two years. This change in the conference schedule is mainly to allow for more preparation work to be put in for a larger-scale Conference with more quality topics and expert speakers.
