Geetha Kanagasingam is a professional advisor and consultant who is the founder of First Global Risk Solutions. She has over 25 years of experience in corporate governance & compliance, risk management, internal audit and corporate insurance solutions in consultancy, multinational and global firms. Geetha held senior leadership positions in multinational firms. She was the Vice President of Group Risk in Barclays Banks PLC, Regional Chief Internal Auditor, APAC for Cadbury PLC, Principal Officer for Singapore Aviation General Insurance Company, Regional Risk Manager for Singapore Airlines ground handling group of companies. She was Manager within the Global Risk Management Solutions in PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Her qualifications include Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with U21 Global School for Global Leaders in Singapore; Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, Certified Internal Auditor of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), New York, USA and Certified Professional in Anti- Money Laundering & Counter Financing of Terrorism with International Compliance Association, UK.
Geetha is a professional member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers Association and International Compliance Association, United Kingdom. She is a Consultant Advisory member of Gerson Lehrman Group and a Council Committee Member of Risk and Insurance Management Association of Singapore (RIMAS) holding a Professional Enterprise Risk Manager certification from the Association. She was also a founding Board member of risk association, Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA).
