Shawn is the International Resiliency Program manager for PayPal Pte Ltd, responsible for the Organization’s International Resiliency Preparedness and Oversight.
A certified Business Continuity Professional with both Business Continuity Institute (BCI)- MBCI and Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII)- MBCP; Shawn is also a Professional Continuity Practitioner (PCP) certified by FEMA of the US Dept of Homeland Security and honorably inducted into the Order of Sword and Shield Professional Honor Society in 2017.
Equipped with his other qualifications like BSI BCMS Lead Auditor; PRINCE 2 Practitioner certification and Professional Risk Manager (PRM) training, Shawn has more than 10 years of Resiliency, Risk and Crisis Management experience across multiple industries (e.g. Defense, Transportation, Finance and FinTech) locally and internationally.
His passion and scope of interests includes Resiliency and Recovery Preparedness; Crisis simulations and various BCM Automation Programmes.
Shawn has also been invited to speak at several BCM Forums and Seminars in Asia. He also dedicates his time to share his experiences as a BCM Trainer for BCI and Business Continuity Planning Asia (BCP Asia).
